The fear of God.

To know God, you must fear him, above all things; and only that way, you can accept all of Him. 

Going to church and Faith Formation yesterday, gave me a message that even kept me thinking until today. I know that I have to have a relationship with God before anyone else, because He is the one who will be by my side until the very end. For a man without God is nothing, but a man with God is everything. Finding a relationship with God and maybe when I'm ready, with someone else. But for right now. That's it. 

This is what I tell myself in the morning. Everyday.

I refuse to be defined by my past, the size of my jeans, the number on a scale, or the opinions of others. I am an amazing, unique, and worthwhile person just as I am, here, now as I stand before you today. I am a work in progress; ever growing, ever changing, ever moving forward. I am an amazing individual worthy of respect, love and joy. My journey is no less important than your own. I do not seek your approval or permission to be who I choose to be. I am walking my own path at my own pace.
