Boys suck.
I want to be angry at him.
I want to hate his guts for what he did to me.
But he's so fucking charming.

UPDATE!
Gosh, it's been forever since I've given you guys an update.
I'm okay. For the most part I think.
Well, work is stressful at times and also incredibly fun on some days. Most of my co-workers are good to work with. I'm not going to lie though. I have my favorites.
School is... Let's not talk about that. School is nothing special and of course i'm doing finals next week.

Christmas break was amazing, not because I went somewhere fun but because I actually had some time for myself, which was desperately needed.

“It was a difficult pregnancy. I was in so much pain all the time
and the doctors couldn’t
tell me why. I thought it would get easier when he was born, but it got even
more difficult. I knew even in the hospital that he was different because every
moment that I wasn’t
holding him, he would scream. He can barely sit still. He won’t sit still even to eat. I have to watch so closely at all
times, especially when he’s
around other children, because he can be a little too much for them. Other
parents have been saying to me for so long that he’ll grow out of it. I’m
convinced now that every child is different and that what applies to their
children might not apply to mine. But we just keep praying and hoping he’ll grow out of it.”
“What’s
been your happiest moment as a parent?”
“The first time he told me he loved me. He just kept touching my
face over and over again, saying: ‘Love
you. Love you. Love you.’”

“I want to be a
hematologist. That’s a blood doctor. Well not a blood doctor,
exactly. But a doctor that finds cures for blood diseases.”
“How’d you decide on that?”
“We were dissecting frogs
in class and learning about how the blood flows through the body. And I went
home that night and wrote an essay. And it wasn’t like any other essay I’d ever done. Normally
when I write essays, it takes me a long time, but this was the fastest essay I
ever wrote. So the next day I was asking the teacher mad questions, and she was
like, ‘You know you can get a
job in this.’ And she pulled it up on the internet, and was showing me all
about hematologists.”

It's been months, but I can't seem to get over the guy who used to write me poems like this.
I kept
writing poems but none would work and flow. Instead I looked at your picture
for inspiration, almost an hour went by and yet still nothing would suffice. I
was trying to create the best work of art and beauty that man has ever seen.
Once more I gazed upon your picture, and realized what I was searching for was
you. You are the true beauty I was in need of, the sun to my moon, the Juliet
to my Romeo, the beauty indescribable by my true but modest poetry.

See you at the pole
I know a lot of people from all over see my blog, so I'm going to explain "See you at the Pole". See you at the pole is this event where, whoever would like to, goes to the front of the school at 6:45 in the morning close to the flag poles, to meet with other Christians to sing songs, pray, eat donuts, talk with friends etc. It's great, and we are all really grateful that we are able to do this at our school, especially now, when we know that there are so many different situations going on in the Middle East. Not a day goes by where we don't think about those over there suffering. See you at the pole is where we get to pray for everyone. I mean, everyone. Family, friends, those in our school, teachers, counselors, doctors, those over seas, everything going on in our world, etc. There is so much to be thankful for, but there is also so much to pray and hope about. Believe is or not but, See you at the pole, really changes people. It changed me.

A dish of ice cream
In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less, a 10 year old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.
“How much is an ice cream sundae?”
“50 cents,” replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it.
“How much is a dish of plain ice cream?” he inquired. Some people were now waiting for a table and the waitress was a bit impatient.
“35 cents,” she said brusquely.
The little boy again counted the coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream,” he said.
The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and departed.
When the waitress came back, she began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what she saw.
There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 cents – her tip.

Potatoes, eggs, coffee bean
Once upon a time a daughter complained to her father that her life was miserable and that she didn’t know how she was going to make it. She was tired of fighting and struggling all the time. It seemed just as one problem was solved, another one soon followed.
Her father, a chef, took her to the kitchen. He filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Once the three pots began to boil, he placed potatoes in one pot, eggs in the second pot, and ground coffee beans in the third pot.
He then let them sit and boil, without saying a word to his daughter. The daughter, moaned and impatiently waited, wondering what he was doing.
After twenty minutes he turned off the burners. He took the potatoes out of the pot and placed them in a bowl. He pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl.
He then ladled the coffee out and placed it in a cup. Turning to her he asked. “Daughter, what do you see?”
“Potatoes, eggs, and coffee,” she hastily replied.
“Look closer,” he said, “and touch the potatoes.” She did and noted that they were soft. He then asked her to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hard-boiled egg. Finally, he asked her to sip the coffee. Its rich aroma brought a smile to her face.
“Father, what does this mean?” she asked.
He then explained that the potatoes, the eggs and coffee beans had each faced the same adversity– the boiling water.
However, each one reacted differently.
The potato went in strong, hard, and unrelenting, but in boiling water, it became soft and weak.
The egg was fragile, with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.
However, the ground coffee beans were unique. After they were exposed to the boiling water, they changed the water and created something new.
“Which are you,” he asked his daughter. “When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a potato, an egg, or a coffee bean? “
Moral:
In life, things happen around us, things happen to us, but the only thing that truly matters is what happens within us.
Which one are you?

Everyone has a story.
A 24 year old boy seeing out from the train’s window shouted…
“Dad, look the trees are going behind!”
Dad smiled and a young couple sitting nearby, looked at the 24 year old’s childish behavior with pity,
suddenly he again exclaimed…
“Dad, look the clouds are running with us!”
The couple couldn’t resist and said to the old man…
“Why don’t you take your son to a good doctor?”
The old man smiled and said…
“I did and we are just coming from the hospital, my son was blind from birth, he just got his eyes today.
Every single person on the planet has a story. Don’t judge people before you truly know them. The truth might surprise you.
